I like the straw cap because I am clumsy and hate spilling my water. It is easy to cut and adjust the length of the straw to sip easily. My lid did break a chunk off at the handle when it was dropped but still functions.

I tried it with the straw…you have to suck really hard…I tried without the straw to see if it was possible. Voila…works perfectly and a much better flow of water.
No dripping or leakage…just a suggestion for people that are having the same issue.
