Carrots (finely chopped), cabbage (finely grated), sweetcorn, peas, beans, spring onions, one tablespoon cornstarch, coriander leaves (finely chopped), water, cooking oil, sugar, salt


  1. Properly wash and chop vegetables into fine pieces. 
  2. Add spring onions, garlic, and ginger into a frying pan (with oil). 
  3. Add the vegetables and saute for about 3 minutes on moderate to high flame. 
  4. Add water to the sautéed vegetables, cover with a lid and let the mixture boil for about 3 minutes. 
  5. Add the corn kernels to the boiled veggies.
  6. In a separate bowl, stir cornstarch until it thickens. 
  7. Add the cornstarch as soon as the veggies start to boil in water.
  8. Stir until the mixture thickens. 
  9. Add sugar and salt to the mixture as you taste.
